Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understand transportation and industry market conditions throughout North America; seasonal vs. non-seasonal and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations as a whole.
  • Monitoring all inbound and outbound activities for 3PL warehouse
  • understanding of the trucking industry and knowledge of customs bond, customs documentation for trans border movements.
  • Responsible for the timely, accurate and appropriate escalation of issues.
  • Work with analysts, managers, and customers in order to quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
  • Verifies and keeps records on all inventory adjustments, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Investigates inventory discrepancies
  • Working with a variety of departments to ensure functioning operations
  • Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in transportation, freight brokerage and 3PL (third party logistics) is required.
  • Prior production and inventory control experience helpful.
  • 1-2 years experience in a distribution, transportation and/or logistics environment is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills; Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work with multiple systems simultaneously.
