Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand transportation and industry market conditions throughout North America; seasonal vs. non-seasonal and communicate with the entire team issues that could impact operations as a whole.
Monitoring all inbound and outbound activities for 3PL warehouse
understanding of the trucking industry and knowledge of customs bond, customs documentation for trans border movements.
Responsible for the timely, accurate and appropriate escalation of issues.
Work with analysts, managers, and customers in order to quickly resolve issues in the most efficient manner.
Verifies and keeps records on all inventory adjustments, both incoming and outgoing.
Investigates inventory discrepancies
Working with a variety of departments to ensure functioning operations
Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in transportation, freight brokerage and 3PL (third party logistics) is required.
Prior production and inventory control experience helpful.
1-2 years experience in a distribution, transportation and/or logistics environment is an asset.
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, listening.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to encourage and motivate others in a positive manner.
Excellent keyboarding skills; Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Able to work with multiple systems simultaneously.
