Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LOGGING Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting timber safely and efficiently across various routes, generally in Southern Okanagan - Fraser Valley to Revelstoke or Kamloops but requires some flexibility. This role requires a strong commitment to reliability and safety.

Duties

Operate various types of trucks including Peterbilt and Western Star with B-Trains, tridem and long-loggers. Drive manual transmission. Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Navigate delivery routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records by paper and/or ELD. Collaborate with dispatchers and/or office support and/or owner to ensure timely delivery schedules are met. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to commercial driving.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in LOG truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and driver responsibilities. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings prior to employment. Pay: $28.69-$40.62 per hour
