Position Overview

We are seeking an

experienced Self-Loading Logging Truck Driver

with at least

5 years of professional driving experience

and a valid

Class 1 license

. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work independently while representing our company with professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a self-loading logging truck in various terrain and weather conditions. Load, secure, and transport logs from cut blocks to mills or sorting yards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks. Follow all company safety protocols and WorkSafeBC regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, loader operators, and other drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum

5 years' experience

operating a self-loading logging truck. Valid

Class 1 BC driver's license

with a clean abstract. Strong knowledge of log hauling practices and safe operating procedures. Ability to perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting on truck and equipment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic -- must be dependable and team-oriented.
