DESCRIPTION:
Seasonal \xe2\x80\x93 training position: 5 - 5.5 months total, approximately 4.5 months are lodge based, and one to one and a half months before, after and in-between to be utilized for pre training, planning and reviewing the season and start up and close up responsibilities.

Salary \xe2\x80\x93 range is $7500 - $9500/month depending on whether co-managing experience, training and support required, plus vacation pay, tips and travel allowance.

This is a customer-centric seasonal position that requires an enthusiastic and competent manager to ensure a very high level of service to our guests, provide leadership to staff and to ensure the maintenance of lodge facilities.

More specifically this person will:
Liaise with the Guide Team to plan and execute an outstanding guest experience.
Plan and maintain the operation of the lodge and its related services and functions.
Lead and manage all staff reporting to the position ensuring food services, housekeeping, guiding, lodge logistics and maintenance are performed to standard.
Liaise with the Maintenance staff to ensure the smooth operation of lodge facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
Maintain a safe and harmonious work environment.
Attend year end wrap up meetings, yearly planning meetings, and assist with off season hiring and interview processes as well as collaboration on staff placements.



This position requires strong leadership, communication, management and customer service skills. It requires the ability to readily identify a concern, make decisions on the fly and adapt to changing situations. The manager must be a team player who can both lead and support staff and pitch in to get the job done.

Churchill Wild has developed an amazing program with well thought out and tested processes and procedures in place, while there is at times room for improvement, we are keen to hire an individual who is capable of coming in and working within the program we have developed for at least one full season, asking questions about why things are done a certain way, and taking the time to assimilate the information and experience a full season. Churchill Wild along with our original parent company have been in the Tourism industry for over 50 years.
