Bridges Community Living is a non-profit senior's housing organization. We operate 3 lodges & 7 apartment buildings within the City of Red Deer and are currently recruiting for a permanent Full Time Lodge Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 or more years' experience in a Managerial position
More than 5 years' experience in Seniors or other Social Housing, Hospitality industry or Social Services
Some post-secondary education in human services, liberal arts or hospitality management is preferred.
Experience in social work, housing or hospitality industries would be considered an asset
Basic First Aid, WHMIS, Mandatory successful criminal record check
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with OHS legislation
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of resident services (Housekeeping, Dietary, Recreation) within the Lodge
Able to refer residents to community-based support and health services
Able to execute the application, assessment and intake processes as defined by the organization and government regulations
Implement and maintain effective personnel practices as governed by BCL Policies and Collective Agreement.
Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team members
Ensuring strict adherence to all OH&S & security policies as set out by the organization and Provincial regulations
Develop, monitor and control of approved budget for the Lodge
Meet accuracy and deadline standards for the completion of staff and resident record keeping
Be knowledgeable and able to work under provincial privacy legislation and appropriate organizational policy.
Represent the organization on community and provincial bodies as may be appropriate
