We are seeking a dynamic and organized

Salon Coordinator

& Dreadlock Hairstylist

to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations within our salon, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our stylists and clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or technical sales are highly valued. Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly and manage appointment scheduling efficiently using POS systems Assist clients with product selections and provide product demos when appropriate Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling, processing payments, and balancing registers Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and revenue Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the salon environment is clean and inviting Manage phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information and booking appointments Support stylist needs by coordinating schedules and ensuring timely service delivery Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the salon environment Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and product ordering Perform for clients on site, including selling products Operate Etsy and online stores including messages and shipping out items. Create products for an online store, as well as purchasing materials Post Facebook Marketplace adds daily and coordinate client inquiries Ideal living location for the candidate is close to the Studio, in Le Plateau

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual skills (English & French required) to effectively communicate with diverse clients Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in technology sales, POS systems, and basic math for transactions Experience with retail sales, merchandising, and product demonstrations Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy setting Demonstrated organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage appointments smoothly Phone etiquette expertise for handling inquiries professionally Upselling abilities to promote services and products confidently Hair styling or dreadlock making skills a plus- but we also train! We perform all hair textures at our salon.

Schedule Availability:

All shifts are on an ON CALL basis, and as required basis

Monday-Friday 2pm-8pm

Saturday & Sunday 10am-6pm

Pay: $16.58-$23.13 per hour
