First Student is seeking a dedicated and experienced

Location Manager

to lead our school bus operations in Caledon East. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our students and families.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the location's operations, including driver supervision, dispatch, maintenance, and customer service. Ensure compliance with safety standards, provincial regulations, and company policies. Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and service quality. Collaborate with regional leadership and school boards to meet transportation needs. Manage staffing, training, and development of team members. Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation for the location.

Qualifications

Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or operations management (school bus or fleet experience is an asset). Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of Ontario safety and transportation regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems. Valid driver's license (Class B or willingness to obtain is an asset).
