Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Loader Operator to efficiently clear snow and ice from designated roadways, parking lots, and walkways during winter months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe access to properties while operating snow removal equipment. This role requires mechanical knowledge, familiarity with construction and landscape maintenance tools, and the ability to work in challenging winter conditions. The Snow Plow Operator plays a vital role in ensuring safety and accessibility for residents, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities

Operate Loaders and related equipment to remove snow and ice from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas. Perform routine inspections of plowing equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge for minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely snow removal operations during adverse weather conditions. Apply salt or other de-icing materials to prevent ice formation on surfaces. Maintain detailed records of completed work and equipment usage. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during snow removal activities to prevent accidents or injuries.

Skills

Proven experience operating Loader or similar heavy machinery. Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods. Strong attention to safety procedures and the ability to recognize potential hazards in winter operations. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors. This position offers an essential service during winter months, ensuring safety and accessibility across various properties while requiring a dedicated individual with strong mechanical skills and experience operating heavy equipment.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
