Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our client. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and offering companionship to those in need.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain a clean living space by performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up. Support clients with mobility needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation or activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and an understanding of the unique needs of elderly clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Certification or training in caregiving or nursing is a plus but not mandatory. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following established care plans.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
