We seek a full-time Litigation LAA with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience to join our firm.

Responsibilities:

A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution

Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a litigation LAA

Working knowledge of BC Online and myLTSA

Proficient with MS Word and Outlook

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism, and to maintain confidentiality

Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Skills

  • A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of working experience as an LAA
  • Working knowledge of BC Online and myLTSA
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Practice Guidelines, Land Titles Act, and other procedures, statutes, rules, and regulations applicable to fundamental property law
  • Basic familiarity with conveyancing is an asset
  • Proficient with MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and professionalism, and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
