Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

Organizing and maintaining litigation files Drafting correspondence to other counsel, insurance companies, clients etc. Liaising with clients Preparation and drafting of Pleadings, Motions, Mediation and Pre-trial Memoranda, Bill of Costs etc. Preparation and drafting of Affidavit of Documents, and court documents Management of Undertakings and Refusals

Skill Set Required:

3+ years practical experience together with relevant post-university training In depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure In depth knowledge of the Rules of Small Claims Court Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence Ability to carry a heavy caseload and to manage multiple files and assigned tasks in conjunction with deadlines Highly developed written and oral communication skills Meticulous proofing and editing skills Exceptional administrative, organizational, analytical and time management skills Strong work ethic Serious candidates must have the ability to work autonomously with menial supervision Proficiency with various computer applications.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
