Our client, a well-established litigation law firm, is currently seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented
Litigation Law Clerk
to join their dynamic legal team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of litigation matters. In this role, you will collaborate closely with legal professionals at all levels and play a critical role in supporting the firm's litigation files from inception to resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, applications, motion records, affidavits, and client communications
Coordinate and manage timelines for litigation files
Assist with trial preparation, including the organization of materials and documentation
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for lawyers
Schedule and coordinate discoveries, mediations, and other key litigation events
Liaise professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and service providers
Attend client meetings, swear affidavits, and assist in preparation for examinations
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant diploma/certificate program (preferred)
Minimum 2years of litigation experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive matters
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment
A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude
