Job Description

Gaertner Baron Professional Corporation is a corporate and commercial litigation boutique located in downtown Toronto. Our mandate is simple - to provide expert litigation representation to our corporate and individual clients.

We are seeking a litigation associate with 3 + years of civil and commercial litigation experience to join our busy and collegial litigation team.

The position offers the opportunity for hands-on experience at all stages of litigation, as well as file carriage and direct client contact. This is a hybrid position.

We are looking are looking for an associate who meets the following criteria:

Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario 3+ years of post call civil or commercial litigation experience Courtroom experience is require Has excellent writing skills Has ability to research complex legal issues, prepare legal memoranda, draft facta and other motion and/or trial related materials Has ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients and assume carriage of client files
