Our firm is consistently top-ranked in construction law in the British Columbia legal market. We offer better pay compared with the largest downtown firms (with a lower minimum hourly target), with potential to far exceed big-law compensation on account of generous bonus opportunities (up to $24,000 in additional bonus pay up for grabs in your first year on account of beating hourly targets, which bonus structure will continue to improve).
We are fully committed to developing and instilling deep litigation and industry knowledge into our associates. The successful applicant will be working with two mentors who boast a deep understanding of our construction industry and and an uncompromising commitment to service excellence. Regular social events, both planned and informal, enhance our firm's camaraderie and collegial environment.
Sportschuetz & Company focuses exclusively on construction and commercial law matters, including complex disputes and litigation. With a former contractor and developer leading our team, we have the enormous advantage, unique among lawyers, of being able to talk the same language as construction industry participants. We have intimate and complete understanding of the ins and outs of construction projects thanks to years of on-the-ground experience and an unequaled industry network. Our deep understanding of construction and construction law gives us distinctive tools to anticipate risks and deliver to our clients proactive solutions.
We are project lawyers, committed to construction projects from conception to completion. We negotiate and draft construction agreements and work closely with project teams - the builders, consultants, and construction managers - to help bring every construction project to completion on time and on budget.
