Litigation Associate - International Firm - TorontoOur client, a leading firm in litigation well established internationally, is looking for a seasoned litigation lawyer to join its team based in downtown Toronto.Do you have more than 6 years of experience in insurance litigation, ideally in the professional and civil liability and indemnity fields ? In this once-of-a-lifetime opportunity, your responsibilities will include, among others :

• In accordance with partners, take charge of files from initial assessment to trial;
• Advise clients on insurance litigation matters;
• Provide legal analysis and advice;
• Attend examinations, review documents, submit filings to court;
• Work independantly on trials, mediations or other hearings;
• Take part of the business development plan;
• Offer mentorship to junior lawyers;
• Perform pratice management tasks upon request;
• Meet other legal and business priorities as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

• Member of the Ontario Bar in good standing;
• A minimum of a 6 years experience in insurance litigation;
• Experience with civil and professional liability and indemnity;
• Demonstrated advocacy abilities and outstanding communication skills;
• Creativity, integrity and rigor.
