Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee production operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and manufacturing processes, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety and sanitation protocols. As a Line Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing the workflow, training team members, and maintaining efficient production lines.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the packaging line. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout the production process. Train and mentor team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in food processing. Monitor equipment performance and conduct basic troubleshooting as needed, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any discrepancies or concerns to management. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across the facility. Conduct regular inspections of the production area to uphold cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry or manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong understanding of packaging processes and food processing techniques. Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is a plus. Basic math skills for inventory management and production reporting. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
