Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Cook menu items according to recipes and standards while maintaining consistency in presentation and flavor. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Pay: $15.65-$19.00 per hour
