Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant recipes and standards Cook menu items with attention to presentation, quality, and consistency Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards Assist with food plating and garnishing for service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods Ensure timely delivery of orders to ensure customer satisfaction Stock ingredients and supplies as required, notifying management of shortages

Skills

Experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures within a restaurant or food industry setting Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and front-of-house staff Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable for success in this role
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
