We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of excellence and food safety regulations.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and cooking.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
