Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation regulations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment Serve dishes in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow food safety guidelines at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage Support meal preparation during busy service hours to meet customer demand

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation standards Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen operations Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish quality Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during service hours
