Job Title: Line Cook
Location: St. Boniface
Promenade Brasserie, a new restaurant opening soon, is looking for an experienced line cook to join our team. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about creating exceptional cuisine and are committed to providing an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. Our restaurant offers an elevated casual dining experience, with a focus on French cuisine and culture.
As a line cook, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during high-volume periods
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored
Recording waste and temperature logs to ensure proper food safety protocols are followed
Following detailed checklists and understanding priorities to ensure efficient and effective multitasking
Qualifications:
At least 1-3 years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and events
Integrity and commitment to providing exceptional cuisine and service
Passionate about food and eager to learn and adapt new skills
Culinary diploma and food safety certifications are an asset, but not required
