We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Assist with meal preparation and plating of dishes for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members
