We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools
Previous experience in the food industry or related kitchen roles is preferred
