Maiiz Nixtamal Eatery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items following traditional and contemporary Mexican recipes and nixtamal-based dishes with consistency and care. Assist with plating and food presentation, ensuring every dish reflects the quality and spirit of Maiiz. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Handle multiple orders efficiently during service, ensuring timely and accurate preparation. Support kitchen operations with ingredient prep, stock rotation, and maintaining equipment. Follow safety procedures when working with hot equipment, knives, and storage. Collaborate with the kitchen team to uphold Maiiz's high culinary and hospitality standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.91-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
