Duties



Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all food handling and preparation processes Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Ensure all food is cooked to order, properly seasoned, and presented beautifully Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing station cleanliness, and adhering to prep schedules Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy periods and special catering events Follow all health regulations and safety protocols diligently to uphold a safe working environment

Requirements



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is highly desirable Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to serve efficiently under pressure Prior kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant environment is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
