Calling all responsible cooks with a passion for creating culinary magic! We're on the lookout for a dedicated team member to join us full- time from Wednesday to Sunday, crafting authentic/modern French dishes and enjoy some fantastic perks along the way.

Located in the heart of Vancouver's Commercial Drive, Absinthe Bistro offers French flare.

o Position: Cook

o Schedule: Full- Time, Wednesday to Sunday.

o Shift: 2:00 pm to Close (9:30 - 10:30). Approx. 40 hours per week.

o Compensation: $21 - $22 per hour (Experience - Depending) + Tip Pool Participation.

o Staff meal: enjoy a delicious meal every workday!

Our ideal team member should have at least:

1 year of kitchen experience or a blend of culinary education and experience. BC Food Safe Certificate: Ensuring food safety is our top priority. Basic Culinary Skills & Knowledge: Ready to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen. Effective Communication: Good English language skills to collaborate seamlessly. Legally Eligible to work in Canada. Culinary School Accreditation (an asset): Your culinary journey is our inspiration. Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting to 50lbs.
Your duties will include:

Preparation (Mise end place) and service. Maintain an orderly and clean kitchen keeping within Health and Safety guidelines and proper food handling. In our cozy kitchen, we believe in teamwork, including pitching in on dishwashing duties when needed.
