Job Description
The Best Western Plus Sands is a busy hotel located in the heart of Vancouver's West End and home to two on-site restaurants and one golf simulator bar. Our restaurants support a diverse range of dining experiences, serving both hotel guests and a strong local customer base. We take pride in offering quality food, efficient service, and a positive work environment. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Line Cook to join our kitchen team and contribute to our growing food and beverage operations.
Compensation:
$18-$19 per hour, based on experience

Mornings
Afternoons
Evenings
Weekends
Holidays
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with prep work and daily kitchen operations
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service
Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to supervisors
Cleaning during downtime and before end of shift
Qualifications:
Previous line cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the team
Food Safe certification is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
