Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Adhere to food safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage practices. Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Provide support during catering events, ensuring all aspects of service run smoothly.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within the food industry or fine dining establishments. Strong food preparation skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Experience in menu planning and catering is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
