We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils. Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of all food products. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with other staff members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences for guests. Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
