Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is cooked safely and handled according to food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed Adhere to all restaurant policies and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including meal preparation and food safety standards Excellent understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team Familiarity with serving guests and managing multiple tasks simultaneously Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
