Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure guest satisfaction Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills over time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Work Location: In person
