Duties

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals Assist with menu planning and ingredient ordering to maintain optimal kitchen inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or catering environments Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, menu planning, and food service operations Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Prior kitchen experience within the food industry or culinary field is highly desirable
