Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through precise meal preparation and presentation.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy hours Follow serving protocols to ensure proper portioning and presentation of meals Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in meal preparation within the food industry or similar setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of serving practices and customer service principles

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
