We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and meal preparation methods. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
