LINE COOK JOB DESCRIPTION:





PREPARING AND COOKING SERVICE WITH FELLOW TEAM MEMBERS WHILE MAINTAINING A POSITIVE AND EFFICIENT ATTITUDE.


ENSURES THAT ALL FOOD IS PREPARED AND PRESENTED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS, MAINTAINING CONSISTENCY AND ADHERING TO RECIPES AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS.


ENFORCES HYGIENE AND SAFETY REGULATIONS AND ENSURES EQUIPMENT IS WELL-MAINTAINED AND CLEAN

Culinary Expertise:

Proficient in various cooking techniques and styles.

Attention to Detail:

Crucial for maintaining food quality and consistency.

Time Management and Multitasking:

Essential for handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving:

Capable of making quick decisions and resolving issues on the fly.

Food Preparation:

Chopping vegetables, making sauces, following recipes, etc.

Cooking:

Cooking menu items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other methods, following standardized recipes and quality standards.

Station Management:

Setting up their assigned cooking station with necessary supplies, maintaining its organization and cleanliness.

Quality and Presentation:


Ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards before being served to customers.
