Job Summary

We are a brand new restaurant opening in the heart of Toronto with a focus on upscale Mediterranean fare. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team . The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our restaurant's reputation for outstanding service and delicious cuisine.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and utensils Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing high-quality meals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
