Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team at Eastbound Brewing Company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals that meet our restaurant's standards. This position requires a commitment to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Your main station will be on our grill/flat top cooking items like steaks, burgers and fajitas.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to guests. Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and cooking methods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for meal preparation and creating exceptional dining experiences.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
