Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items with skill, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times.
Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and supporting the development of new dishes that align with our culinary vision.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness.
Support food service operations by efficiently executing meal preparation, plating, and presentation for dine-in or catering events.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate cooking times and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere by assisting colleagues as needed and maintaining open communication.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Participate in ongoing training related to dietary department procedures, food industry best practices, and culinary techniques.
Skills
Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within restaurant or fine dining settings.
Excellent knife skills coupled with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Familiarity with menu planning, catering services, and food handling regulations.
Hands-on experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices across the food industry.
