The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking on the Line during service. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items such as pastas, grilled meats, seafood, antipasti and desserts according to recipes and presentation standards.
Set up and maintain station before and during service.
Execute orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining food quality, timing and presentation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace while adhering to health and safety standards including proper temperature control and cross contamination prevention.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment, breaking down stations and prepping for the next shift.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies
Skills
1-2 years of experience in high-volume restaurant food preparation, cooking and service
Food safety and handling.
Knife skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team setting.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
