We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
