We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards while adhering to food safety and handling regulations.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
