Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club in South Surrey is seeking a skilled line cook to join our culinary team for the West coast Bistro restaurant. We are Casual with an Up-tick in Fresh, Local, and Inspiring Global Cuisine. Apprentices are welcome.

The position is available for part-time leading up to full-time in the busy season.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency. Organizational skills, cleanliness, and punctuality are also essential.

Please note that a reliable form of transportation is necessary as there is NO BUS ROUTE available.

Qualifications:

? Experience in a professional kitchen or equivalent culinary education

? Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

? Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently

? Proficiency in basic cooking techniques such as grilling, sauteing, and frying

? Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently

? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

? Strong communication and teamwork skills

? Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

? Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

? Ability to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

? Shifts usually start at either 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, or 2:00 PM and end at 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, or 10:30 PM including weekends.
