Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation within a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food supplies properly. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling, and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
