Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Contribute to maintaining a positive team environment focused on quality service
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within restaurant or food industry settings
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in food industry practices is highly desirable
