We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards of excellence and food safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Participate in menu planning and development as needed
Skills
Strong experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen
Familiarity with meal preparation processes and the ability to follow recipes accurately
