We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards and served promptly to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
Passion for the culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills within the food industry.
