Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will help ensure that our guests receive exceptional meals that meet our high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant setting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.
