We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times. The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting the overall operation of our restaurant while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in accordance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Follow all health and safety policies related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety
Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and hygiene
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
