We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food preparation and safety protocols. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining the standards of our fine dining establishment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.
Uphold high standards of food handling practices throughout all stages of meal preparation.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is essential; fine dining experience is preferred.
Familiarity with dietary department operations or as a dietary aide is advantageous.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are required.
Experience in menu planning and catering services is a plus.
A solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is essential.
