Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper food handling and storage. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on new dishes. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is functioning properly and report any issues.

Requirements



Previous experience in food service or as a line cook preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $16.04-$21.39 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
